In Camp Chaverim, the canteen is an all time favorite!!! It will be stocked full of delicious snacks, hot food items, such as fries, hot pretzels, knishes, hot dogs, refreshing drinks, ice cream, candy, and Ice cold Slushees!!!

1. It is entirely your choice how much money your child spends at the canteen. Our recommendation is about $35 per week ($120 total per session). Again, this is just our recommendation based on experience. It is your choice if/how much canteen money to spend.
2. The system for canteen is by use of punch cards. Each punch card has a value of $5 or $10.  Campers can choose to be responsible for their own punch cards or they can keep their cards with the canteen manager. Lost cards by campers will not be refunded. If a child is concerned about losing his money, there will be an option to store/deposit canteen money with the canteen. Money that is kept with the canteen will be refunded, but punch cards will not. Campers should use up their punch cards! Punch cards will be available for purchase at camp at announced times of day. The canteen will be open multiple times each day, as well as on Motzei Shabbos. 
3. Canteen money should NOT be sent to us in advance. Rather, campers should bring either cash or a check made out to Camp Chaverim to purchase canteen punch cards after they have arrived at camp.
